Fantastic. Just received the aids today 12/2/14. What a improved difference from my interon aids. Smaller and I definitely hear better. Very nice!
I have wanted an app to control my hearing aids for years, as I am tired of the ugly, expensive remote controls you have to lug around with you. I have found the solution with my 7bx hearing aids and the touchControl app. My only complaint with the app is that it makes annoying high pitched sounds whenever I change the volume.
I have now worn these hearing aids for 3 weeks, and here's what I can report.
The good: The sound quality is exceptional, aids are sturdy and reliable, and easy to use. I have not had any issues with their performance, or with my ability to hear well enough.
The bad: One of the main reasons I got these was for the rechargeable batteries. I am taking away 1.5 stars because the echarger accessory has not lived up to its promise. It has only been 3 weeks and I've had to clean the contacts on both the hearing aid and the charger in order to get the hearing aids to charge properly. That's not a big deal, but what is upsetting to me is that the charge has only been lasting 9 hrs on average for me. This means that in the middle of my day I have to switch to regular hearing aid batteries. Getting the echarger was supposed to save me some hassle and save batteries, but it is quite the opposite. I would recommend saving your money and not buying the echarger accessory and just using traditional batteries with these hearing aids.
I have had these hearing aids for a while after an upgrade by the VA. They are excellent, especially with the rechargeable batteries.
I am a teacher and have great difficulty hearing in the classroom, on the playground, in the cafeteria, library, really everywhere. I have a high frequency hearing loss, so hearing children is even harder. These 2 problems really compound and as I result I struggle to hear. I tried the Widex 440 Dream and Phonak V90 and this Siemens was definitely the best. The one thing I will say is the Dream 440s were better at handling music- where I feel the Siemens really lack.
I tried these hearing aids after being recommended on a forum and told that Siemens "has the best background noise cancellation technology." I had previously tried a set of Oticon Alta2 Pros in the mini style and while they were a very comfortable set and fit better to my ears than the Siemens, they did not perform as well in background noise. The binaxes are in my opinion the best hearing aid out there for background noise reduction. I have also tried the KS6 from Costco and was not satisfied with either the fitters expertise or the quality of the product. I am using these with the Spatial Configurator app from Siemens and my iPhone and am loving the connectivity. The sound still, after many adjustments is not 100% clear as I would like it to be- or incredibly natural sounding- but my wife and I will agree my hearing has improved 500%. After trying 2 other sets and not being satisfied in noise I would say try the Pure 7bx before you give up trying to hear in noise, they are the best IMO.
I tried these for 3 weeks and had them adjusted 3 separate times but never could get away from the tinny sound. Also tried the Rextons and had the same problem. Not sure what the answer is for me, but it's not this hearing aid.
I tried these for about a month. I personally struggled with the very soft sounds (a woman speaking in a very low voice). I also would always hear a sound kind of like a buzzing all the time. Unfortunately I have decided to return them and purchase different hearing aids.

This is the only way to buy hearing aids! Most any kind of model you might desire can be purchased through the ZipHearing network - and I saved a significant amount of money, about $1400 - and got a year's worth of batteries at no cost. Explore the site and then call.
I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ZipHearing.com. They saved me $1,300 and connected me with an excellent local company, plus gave me a year supply of hearing aid batteries. I am a completely satisfied customer. Highly recommended!
I contacted ZipHearing and received a great pair of hearing aids for way below the cost that the hearing center was asking. It's a great way to save a lot of money on state of the art products and I'm glad I found them before paying full price. Service is excellent as well.
