Hearing Aid Description & Features
Released by Oticon on January 12, 2021 the Oticon More 3 falls under Oticon`s entry level technology within the More family.
As entry level technology, this hearing aid is the third best technology that Oticon has to offer, making it a solid choice for individuals with quiet lifestyles, who primarily wish to hear better around the home, in one-on-one conversations, watching TV, and in mostly quiet and small group settings.
The Oticon More 3 hearing aid has 48 channels and 4 customizable programs, and that gives it the flexibility to digitally process sound in a way that sounds natural, and can also be adapted to the particular listening environment of the wearer.
More 3 is available in the popular miniRITE R and miniRITE T style. It's a small receiver-in-the-ear style hearing aid that is powered by either a built in lithium-ion rechargeable battery, or disposable size 312 battery.
With its discreet RIC (receiver in canal) style, the More 3 sits comfortably behind the ear and is hardly noticeable to the wearer or others. This hearing aid is available in 7 color choices as shown below.

Real user reviews (pros & cons)
John's Review of More 1 Rechargeable
"You will be so happy to hear all the sounds that had been shut out, prior to the application of the hearing aids. As I said the technology is great, people don’t even know you’re wearing them, but more important than that, you will enter into a brand new world of hearing."
Heather's Review of More 1 Rechargeable
"They’re small, they fit right behind the ear, they’re very discreet."
John's Review of More 1 Rechargeable
"I chose the Oticon More hearing aids for a number of reasons. I had done some research online, and while there were several brands I had considered, Oticon seemed to suit my needs as well as some of the others."
David's Review of More 1 Rechargeable
"I am the owner of a pair of Oticon hearing aids, which I have been wearing for about 3 weeks now, and I can say that I am very very pleased with them."
Virginia's Review of Oticon More 1 Rechargeable
"The best thing I like about the Oticon is at night you plug them in by your bedside, the next morning you take them out and they're ready to go. "
Robert's Review of More 1 Rechargeable
"I insert them into a charger every night, thus there is no need to buy and replace batteries every week."
Mitch's Review of More 1 Rechargeable
"Two different doctors both recommended the same hearing aid for me, which was the Oticon More 1."
Robert's Review of More 2 Rechargeable
"So, an overall evaluation, I’m saying that I’m very happy with the unit, it did meet my requirements, and I hope that information is useful to you as well. "
Judith's Review of More 1 Rechargeable
"What I like is it’s attached to my phone, and in a certain situation, if I want to make the hearing aids a little lower, I move the button a little lower. If I need a little higher sound, I can do that as well."
Dave's Review of More 1 Rechargeable
"In classrooms and lecture halls I was having difficulty listening to women’s voices, group conversations in seminars was getting to be impossible."
Denise's Review of More 2 Rechargeable
"It’s amazing, I haven’t had a problem at all, there’s absolutely nothing I do not like about these hearing aids."
Accessories & Smartphone Apps
This is Oticon's only charger and is the one that comes with all rechargeable hearing aids. Fully charges your hearing aids in 3 hrs, providing 24 hours of power. A quick charge of 30 minutes will provide 5 hours of power. There's also a compartment inside that has room for desiccant, which helps dry out the hearing aids overnight.
TV Adapter 3.0: $229
Plug it into the back of your TV or soundbar and the audio will be streaned directly to your hearing aids. Others can keep the TV at their preferred volume level, while you set your own volume via the app or on the hearing aids themselves.
ConnectClip has two features. First, it's most commonly used as a Bluetooth streamer that allows you to stream audio from your phone to your hearing aids. If you have an iPhone, you don't need this, because iPhones stream directly to Oticon hearing aids. If you have an Android or any other phone and you want to stream from your phone, you need this. Even if you have an iPhone, it still may make sense to get this, because it does allow for hands free phone calls. Wear it around your neck and the microphone picks up your voice for the person on the other end of the call to hear, so you don't have to hold you the phone to your mouth when speaking. The second feature of ConnectClip is its ability to work as a remote microphone. If you have a hard time hearing in noise this accessory is a lifesaver. Attach the ConnectClip to a companion's shirt and their voice will stream directly to your hearing aids. Their voice will come through much stronger than all the competing noise in the environment.
Remote Control 3.0: $179
You probably don't need this. Most people use the app to control their hearing aids, and if not the app, then the push button on the hearing aid itself. But if neither of those suit you, this remote is a simple way to control the volume and program.
Oticon ON App
Take control of your hearing aids. Use the app to control settings like volume, program, background noise reduction and tinnitus relief sounds. Locate your hearing aids if you've lost them. Track valuable information on your hearing aid use, like wear time, and battery life.

Based on 4 User Reviews
The sound of my hearing aids is fabulous, far superior to the previous pair I had. They are comfortable and easily charged. While I'm happy to be saving money by not having to buy batteries I am disappointed at the outrageous price of the filters they use. I used to buy those cheaply by the dozen for my previous hearing aids. Other than the filters I have no complaints at all.
Sound quality is excellent and surpasses my Oticon Nera 2 Pro by a sizable margin. Especially good in a restaurant setting. The integration with the iPhone 13 really sets them apart. The iPhone app is simple and easy to use and allows one to increase volume when needed. Having the audio from telephone calls fed directly into the aids from the iPhone is fantastic. As is audio from music, which is not fantastic, or audiobooks, which is great. The miniRITE R battery life is excellent and recharging is a straight forward. Am debating whether to get the TV adapter. I almost don't need it in my current living situation, but I can imagine a time when it would be nice to have. As to durability and comfort, I've never had a complaint about Oticon hearing aids, and these are no exception. Do wish the travel case/battery was included in the purchase price. Summing up, I don't feel that the More 1 or 2 would give me more than the More 3 gives me. Overall, very satisfied with the purchase.
The sound is great. I've heard things I haven't in years. This experience has been greatly appreciated. I will recommend this company to my friends and relatives. I am sending my father in law to get fitted.
Hearing aids took some getting used to, (I was informed that they would), the volume on right side wasn't as loud as on left but that was corrected on follow up visit, as well as range adjustments that made the sound quality better.
