So far, so good but it is only the first day with the Virto V90. As of now, I am very happy with all the functions that can be programmed into this Phonak. I am hearing soooo much better. My ZipHearing provider in Mesa was fantastic. He is personable, knowledgeable and compassionate.
I am a design engineer, and I cannot believe the quality of sound from my new virto v90s. The depth of tone quality is outstanding. My experience of the fitting process (this is the 5th or 6th set I have owned) with the audiologist is the best ever. Phonak programming was impressive, allowing my severe hearing problem compounded with 4 tone tinnitus, to significantly increase my speech understanding with unexpected clarity.
Right from the get go the Virto V90s have provided me with a huge difference in the way I hear...! Not only did it aid with my hearing deficiencies, but the sound clarity and quality is just great. All what I was hoping for was just be able to hear better but didn't expect that much of improvement. The hearing aid fit in my ear so comfortably, easy to put in and take out. The agent went through every aspect of the life-span if you will, of the hearing aid covering all aspects of daily use in every aspect. Hasn't been long yet, but I can tell, the manufacturing quality is well taken care of, the speed of delivering the product is unsurpassed; as they were able to deliver them to me in four business days to accommodate my traveling schedule. The whole process was enjoyable, professional and accurate... I'm happy to have contacted ZipHearing to get this done!
I bought the Virto V90 in the ITC style, along with the CROS II in ITC as well. Excellent sound quality. The Cros II device is an outstanding addition to the single device used previously and is highly recommended.
I upgraded to this from the Phonak Solana CIC that I purchased in 2012. Have only worn for 1 week but my initial impressions are great. I can hear the TV at much lower volumes, I hear much more environmental noise (A/C, appliances, traffic outside), and I am surprised at the power I get with zero feedback. I was suspecting that these wouldn't give me as much power as my larger CICs due to the smaller size, and was basically told as much, but have been surprised there. Music is much clearer/better than I would have expected as well. The only place I have left to really test them is in noise, but given the improvement I've already had, they could totally **** out in noise and I would still say they are worth the money.
The Virto V90 hearing aids are the best ones I've ever had. I got them in the CIC style. My provider was very good.
I purchased Phonak Virto V90 ITC hearing aids. I have worn aids since my mid to late 20's, about 25 years total. These are my first Phonak aids I initially had them programmed a week ago and had a follow-up appointment to make adjustments today. I have moderate loss at 1000Hz that slopes steeply to profound by 2000Hz...so a difficult one to program around. I immediately noticed these aids provide excellent sound quality and so far the autosense program has done an excellent job of reducing background noise to help me hear more clearly in challenging environments.
I had the volume increased at my follow-up appointment. I like the change and I may increase the volume again in certain tone ranges at my 2nd follow-up appointment next week. These are far and away the best hearing aids I have ever owned and a huge upgrade over my previous Starkey CIC aids. These aids have a lot of capabilities and useful features, so I may like them even more after some additional tweaks based upon continued use at my follow-up session next week. I also love the Easy Call accessory that allows streaming directly from my cell phone to my hearing aids and attaches to the phone via a special hard case.
Just took delivery of my new Virto V90 CIC hearing aids. Totally hidden in the canal, but more importantly, they work better than my previous, over the ear hearing aids. So far, the comfort is great and replacing the batteries is easy. Amazing technology in these tiny hearing aids. Good job Phonak!
I just got my first set of hearing aids. They are remarkable technology. Fit is excellent. I am still getting the hang of putting them in, which is due to my neuropathy, their small size and slippery surface. But I think I will get it eventually. The volume adjustment is cool, up on the right element; down on the left; with cues as to where you are in the range. I haven't used them in challenging situations such as concerts, restaurants, etc., but I hear sounds I had not heard before, e.g., clicks on my computer keyboard, dog's id tags clicking, etc. I also hear chewing sounds loudly and my own voice is louder due to bone conduction, I guess. There doesn't seem to be any help for my tinnitus, which lies at 4K Hz, nor for my low (180 Hz) broadband sound. I hope to have more experience with them to be able to report on their efficacy at a later date.

This is the only way to buy hearing aids! Most any kind of model you might desire can be purchased through the ZipHearing network - and I saved a significant amount of money, about $1400 - and got a year's worth of batteries at no cost. Explore the site and then call.
I would DEFINITELY RECOMMEND ZipHearing.com. They saved me $1,300 and connected me with an excellent local company, plus gave me a year supply of hearing aid batteries. I am a completely satisfied customer. Highly recommended!
I contacted ZipHearing and received a great pair of hearing aids for way below the cost that the hearing center was asking. It's a great way to save a lot of money on state of the art products and I'm glad I found them before paying full price. Service is excellent as well.
