Hearing Aid Description & Features

Released by Widex on October 1, 2019 the Widex Evoke 330 falls under Widex`s advanced technology level within the Evoke family.

As advanced technology, this hearing aid is the second best technology that Widex has to offer, making it a great choice for individuals with casual lifestyles, who need hearing aids that can deliver great sound quality in almost all environments. For individuals who spend a significant amount of time in noisy environments, a higher technology level should be considered for better perfomance in noise.

The Widex Evoke 330 hearing aid has 12 channels and 4 customizable programs, and that gives it the flexibility to digitally process sound in a way that sounds natural, and can also be adapted to the particular listening environment of the wearer.

The Evoke 330 is powered by a size 312 battery which will need to changed weekly. With a maximum potential gain of 74 SPL, the Evoke 330 is suitable for individuals with mild to severe hearing loss.

With its discreet RIC (receiver in canal) style, the Evoke 330 sits comfortably behind the ear and is hardly noticeable to the wearer or others. This hearing aid is available in 13 color choices as shown below.

We also offer the Widex Evoke RIC 10 hearing aid, which is slightly smaller than the model pictured above, and the Evoke 13 BTE, a larger and more powerful behind-the-ear hearing aid.

Frequently Asked Questions
EVOKE 330 is the second highest performer in the EVOKE line. Features found only in EVOKE 330 and above include Widex’s Speech Enhancer and Digital Pinna technologies, plus two more processing channels than the next model down. Speech enhancer is designed to emphasize the dominant voice in a noisy listening environment, which can help when other conversations are interfering with the one you are having . Digital Pinna simulates the way your ears shape sound, to better preserve your natural sense of location and direction.
EVOKE uses a smart technology to identify your sound environment and adjust based on feedback provided by you. Your responses are layered with millions of other individual listening experiences, letting the app learn from EVOKE wearers everywhere to provide solutions that are intelligent and intuitive.
The model shown on this page, the Evoke 330 RIC 312 D, is not CROS compatible. However, we do offer a similar model, the Evoke 330 Fusion, that is CROS compatible.

Accessories & Smartphone Apps
RC-DEX: $149

You probably don't need this. Most people use the app to control their hearing aids, and if not the app, then the push button on the hearing aid itself. But if neither of those suit you, this remote is a simple way to control the volume and program.

TV Play: $249

Plug it into the back of your TV or soundbar and the audio will be streaned directly to your hearing aids. Others can keep the TV at their preferred volume level, while you set your own volume via the app or on the hearing aids themselves.

COM-DEX: $249

This is a Bluetooth streamer that allows you to stream audio from your phone to your hearing aids. If you have an iPhone, you don't need this, because iPhones directly stream to Widex hearing aids. If you have an Android or any other phone and you want to stream from your phone, you need this. Even if you have an iPhone, it still may make sense to get this, because it does allow for hands free phone calls. Wear it around your neck and the microphone picks up your voice for the person on the other end of the call to hear, so you don't have to hold you the phone to your mouth when speaking.

TV-DEX: $299

Plug it into the back of your TV or soundbar and the audio will be streaned directly to your hearing aids. Others can keep the TV at their preferred volume level, while you set your own volume via the app or on the hearing aids themselves.

COM-DEX Remote MIC: $269

Used as an optional "add on" with the standard COM-DEX. Clip the COM-DEX Remote Mic to a companion's shirt and their voice will stream directly to the COM-DEX worn around your neck, and then to your hearing aids. Their voice will come through much stronger than all the competing noise in the environment.

Evoke App

Take control of your hearing aids. Adjust sound settings like volume, program, base & treble. Create your own listening programs for certain environments. Use the SoundSense Learn feature (powered by machine learning), to compare sound profiles and help your hearing aids get smarter over time.

ToneLink App

If your phone doesn't directly pair to EVOKE hearing aids, and you don't use a COM-DEX accessory, this is the app for you. This app allows you to adjust the volume, programs, mute the hearing aids, and change the focus direction of the microphones.

My sound quality is very good, especially the high frequencies which have faded as I aged. I can now hear the click sound of the directional signal relay in my car to remind me to turn it off when it stays on after completing a turn.

It has also been helpful when watching British shows on public television because their speech is just enough different that I used to need to record the show to be able to back up and repeat segments to fully understand what was being said.

i am very pleased with my choice of the Widex 330 hearing aids. i especially enjoy being able to stream phone conversations and music from my phone directly to the hearing aids.
The hearing aids are easy to wear, easy to clean and very comfortable in addition to providing good sound for voices and speech that I was struggling to hear.

Although I have only had my hearing aids about two weeks they seem to be working very well, they are comfortable and have a large choice of sound options. The only draw back is the app occasionally shuts down and I have to reload it on my phone.
