Hearing Aid Description & Features
Released by Widex on July 8, 2020 the Widex Moment 330 falls under Widex`s advanced technology level within the Moment family.
As advanced technology, this hearing aid is the second best technology that Widex has to offer, making it a great choice for individuals with casual lifestyles, who need hearing aids that can deliver great sound quality in almost all environments. For individuals who spend a significant amount of time in noisy environments, a higher technology level should be considered for better perfomance in noise.
The Widex Moment 330 hearing aid has 12 channels and 4 customizable programs, and that gives it the flexibility to digitally process sound in a way that sounds natural, and can also be adapted to the particular listening environment of the wearer.
The Moment 330 pictured above is rechargeable and is powered by a lithium-ion battery. This model is also available in a smaller RIC style, powered by a size 10 battery which will need to be changed every 3-5 days, or a size 312 battery which will need to changed weekly. With a maximum potential gain of 76 SPL, the Moment 330 is suitable for individuals with mild to severe hearing loss.
With its discreet RIC (receiver in canal) style, the Moment 330 sits comfortably behind the ear and is hardly noticeable to the wearer or others. This hearing aid is available in 13 color choices as shown below.

Introducing Widex MOMENT
By changing the paradigm of sound with a revolutionary platform, WIDEX MOMENT™ delivers the most pure, natural sound ever. Typically, sound processed in a hearing aid hits the eardrum later than direct sound, causing distorting artefacts and a metallic effect.
Accessories & Smartphone Apps
This is Widex's only charger and is the one that comes with all rechargeable hearing aids. Fully charges your hearing aids in 4 hours, providing 16-20 hours of power. A quick charge of 30 minutes will provide 4 hours of power.
Take control of your hearing aids. Adjust sound settings like volume, program, base & treble, and microphone directionality. Create your own listening programs for certain environments. Use the SoundSense Learn feature (powered by machine learning), to compare sound profiles and help your hearing aids get smarter over time.
Plug it into the back of your TV or soundbar and the audio will be streaned directly to your hearing aids. Others can keep the TV at their preferred volume level, while you set your own volume via the app or on the hearing aids themselves.
This is a Bluetooth streamer that allows you to stream audio from your phone to your hearing aids. If you have an iPhone, you don't need this, because iPhones directly stream to Widex hearing aids. If you have an Android or any other phone and you want to stream from your phone, you need this. Even if you have an iPhone, it still may make sense to get this, because it does allow for hands free phone calls. Wear it around your neck and the microphone picks up your voice for the person on the other end of the call to hear, so you don't have to hold you the phone to your mouth when speaking.
COM-DEX Remote MIC: $269
Used as an optional "add on" with the standard COM-DEX. Clip the COM-DEX Remote Mic to a companion's shirt and their voice will stream directly to the COM-DEX worn around your neck, and then to your hearing aids. Their voice will come through much stronger than all the competing noise in the environment.
You probably don't need this. Most people use the app to control their hearing aids, and if not the app, then the push button on the hearing aid itself. But if neither of those suit you, this remote is a simple way to control the volume and program.
If your phone doesn't directly pair to EVOKE hearing aids, and you don't use a COM-DEX accessory, this is the app for you. This app allows you to adjust the volume, programs, mute the hearing aids, and change the focus direction of the microphones.

Widex stepped up and got me these at no cost. I was one of the unlucky people who got the Evoke rechargeables with Zpower batteries a few years back, they crapped out on me. Rather than continuing to service my Evokes, Widex let me upgrade to the Moments at no cost to me. These have Lithium ION batteries and they are perfect. I am writing here just to express my appreciation to a company that stands behind their name, something rarely found today.
I have the new Widex Moment RIC (rechargeable). The sound quality is excellent and natural. These hearing aids fit in my ear very comfortably. As with all of the brands I tried, the hearing aids do have to compete for room behind my ear with my glasses. But there is no discomfort. I really like the controls I have for the hearing aids with the app on my phone. I have about 7-8 programs saved and can easily switch between them through the app. If I think a program is not right for the environment I am in, I make adjustments to volume, tone, etc. I can save this as a new program if I want, but I don't always do that because I don't want to have so many programs that I spend too much time trying to get to the perfect sound fit. Simply make an adjustment. Lastly, the hearing aids stay charged all day. I wear them between 12-14 hours a day. There is no loss of sound or quality. I don't stream music or other sounds through them often, but I do use them consistently as a phone earbud. The hearing quality on my end works great. I do notice sometimes that the person on the other end may not hear me completely. So far when that has happened, I have been 3-5 feet away from my phone, which may be the cause. When I hold the phone or keep it near me, their reception improves.
The sound quality of the Moment 330 is great and they are very comfortable. I love the fact that they are paired to my IPhone. Helps me greatly when talking on the phone.
Convinced Widex Moment HA have given me sound quality comparable to what my 20 year old ears had, music choices are different though. Jazz has those soft brush drum sounds and the high pure horn notes. Classical has all the strings and horns. Custom programs let you easily dial it back when grandkids are around. Batteries are lasting Much longer with these HAs.
