Hearing Aid Description & Features
Released by Oticon on January 12, 2021 the Oticon More 2 falls under Oticon`s advanced technology level within the More family.
As advanced technology, this hearing aid is the second best technology that Oticon has to offer, making it a great choice for individuals with casual lifestyles, who need hearing aids that can deliver great sound quality in almost all environments. For individuals who spend a significant amount of time in noisy environments, a higher technology level should be considered for better performance in noise.
The Oticon More 2 hearing aid has 48 channels and 4 customizable programs, and that gives it the flexibility to digitally process sound in a way that sounds natural, and can also be adapted to the particular listening environment of the wearer.
The More 2 is powered by a built in lithium-ion battery, which, when powered overnight, reliably delivers 24 hrs of power to the hearing aid. With a maximum potential gain of 66 SPL, the More 2 is suitable for individuals with mild to severe hearing loss.
With its discreet RIC (receiver in canal) style, the More 2 sits comfortably behind the ear and is hardly noticeable to the wearer or others. This hearing aid is available in 7 color choices as shown below.
If you have questions about the More 2 that you don`t find answered on this page, or are looking for specs on this device, you might want to check out the downloadable documents (below), visit Oticon`s website, or feel free to give us a call at 800-731-6794.

Oticon More Review
Introducing Oticon More! It features a built-in lithium ion rechargeable battery, Bluetooth connectivity to iPhones and most Android phones, and best of all... It's the world's first hearing aid with an on-board deep neural network. In this video we take a look at all of the above and more, to help you determine if Oticon More is the right choice for you. Spoiler alert- it probably is!
Accessories & Smartphone Apps
This Oticon's only charger and is the one that comes with all rechargeable hearing aids. Fully charges your hearing aids in 3 hrs, providing 24 hours of power. A quick charge of 30 minutes will provide 5 hours of power. There's also a compartment inside that has room for desiccant, which helps dry out the hearing aids overnight. Desiccant doesn't come standard with orders from Phonak. If you want it, please specify at the time you order .
TV Adapter 3.0: $229
Plug it into the back of your TV or soundbar and the audio will be streaned directly to your hearing aids. Others can keep the TV at their preferred volume level, while you set your own volume via the app or on the hearing aids themselves.
ConnectClip has two features. First, it's most commonly used as a Bluetooth streamer that allows you to stream audio from your phone to your hearing aids. If you have an iPhone, you don't need this, because iPhones stream directly to Oticon hearing aids. If you have an Android or any other phone and you want to stream from your phone, you need this. Even if you have an iPhone, it still may make sense to get this, because it does allow for hands free phone calls. Wear it around your neck and the microphone picks up your voice for the person on the other end of the call to hear, so you don't have to hold you the phone to your mouth when speaking. The second feature of ConnectClip is its ability to work as a remote microphone. If you have a hard time hearing in noise this accessory is a lifesaver. Attach the ConnectClip to a companion's shirt and their voice will stream directly to your hearing aids. Their voice will come through much stronger than all the competing noise in the environment.
Remote Control 3.0: $179
You probably don't need this. Most people use the app to control their hearing aids, and if not the app, then the push button on the hearing aid itself. But if neither of those suit you, this remote is a simple way to control the volume and program.
Oticon ON App
Take control of your hearing aids. Use the app to control settings like volume, program, background noise reduction and tinnitus relief sounds. Locate your hearing aids if you've lost them. Track valuable information on your hearing aid use, like wear time, and battery life.

Based on 2 User Reviews
I have throughly enjoyed my new Oticon More2 hearing aids. I have found them to be very reliable as well as comfortable to wear. The down side of the behind the ear model and wearing of mask for COVID 12 is that when pulling the mask off one must be careful not to pull off the hearing aid.
Been using the Oticon More aids every day consistently since they arrived 2 weeks ago. Have had 3 programming sessions with my audiologist. Overall I have experienced enough positive benefits from these aids to be 100% sold on the idea that hearing aids are worth my investment; however, I am not sold these Oticon More aids are the best for me.
I have outlined a few of my experiences (positive and negative) below.
* trouble connecting to Oticon app. Often one side will connect and the other will not.
* very ineffective in noisy environments; noisy environment program only seems to turn up the noises I am trying to eliminate!; tried MoreSound Booster and it has no effect; I am not convinced delivering “30% more sound” to my brain is an effective strategy for me.
* hissing noise has developed, requiring me to turn down setting. Still working with provider to remedy.
* still have difficulty hearing person next to me while driving or while sitting at a bar. I tried separating control of the sides, turned down left side and turned right side up and that helps a little but not much.
* they do work great for face to face conversations in quiet settings.
* they do work great in a quiet public speaker setting.
* they generally work great for phone (IPhone) calls but I have had periodic connectivity isssues (clicks or delay in one side connecting) when accepting calls.
* work super to help hear Google Maps driving directions.
