Really good sound quality and comfort. I have enjoyed the technology and the phone app of the 3D 9. The price and the value are excellent too! I am impressed with the natural sound and the look of the hearing aids as well. I am hoping more people will choose these hearing aids in the future because they are wonderful!
The sound quality of my Resound GN LiNX 3D 9 hearing aids is excellent. Recognizing that I am only two weeks into this process, I am delighted at being able to hear many things that I haven’t for years. Conversations in noisy restaurants are better, but still not perfect—and may never be. Ability to elongate auto road noise is quite good. I’ve also been surprised at how loud some sources are and pleased to be able to adjust volume down. Increasing volume in those instances when I want to increase has not been as good. This may just be an adjustment..
I have tried various hearing aids, but have never found any like the ReSound LiNX 3D 5. They are great. I can now hear conversations that I was never able to hear before with any other hearing aids. I would highly recommend ReSound to anyone who has a hearing problem.
I didn't know how much sound I was missing until I got my new resound hearing aids. When I take them off at night it is like to whole world goes silent (well almost). I love the technology that is build in and the use of my phone to make adjustments on the spot is great!
New to me and the different sound takes a bit of getting use to. My acoustic guitar sounds quite strange to Me, but it's OK. I have to concentrate a bit to remember to "put 'em in and take 'em out!" Some times I get a brief ear channel itch and can't quite handle it the way I use to... but, that's no biggie.
Sound quality of the 3D 9s is excellent-much improved over my previous hearing aids. The automatic adjustment for wind is a major improvement for me as I am outside a lot -walking, working in the yard and biking. The Bluetooth function is awesome as is the ability to adjust sounds and settings with my I Phone, especially is noisy settings like crowded rooms and restaurants.
Sound quality is not as expected. Sounds are clear but speech is not. I have not been able to understand speech clearly any different than without them which has been a big let down. There are a lot of robot like sounds when on the phone and they tend to cut out often when talking on the phone. As for being comfortable they are easy to put in and I barely notice them. The only issue I've had is the small piece attached to the microphone has been somewhat uncomfortable and we've had to work on getting the right size to be comfortable. The provider has been great in working on that. Unfortunately for the amount of money they cost I am quite disappointed that it is not correcting the problems I am having with recognizing speech. I can't hear what's on tv...still need to use closed caption...I can't hear the sounds of our neighbor's babies crying where the rest of my family can, I can't hear the tone of my Fastrak pass in my car where the rest of the passengers can, still can't understand the same words in songs I listen to often just as before...it's been a let down in that respect.
I am so happy with my new hearing aids. I decided to go with the ReSound 7 and find them to be easy to use, and in most situations, improve my hearing. I have been suffering from hearing loss and Tinnitus for over a decade, but did not realize just how much I was missing until now. I have always been able to hear in a quite one on one setting, but loose a lot of hearing ability when out of a quite environment. In restaurant situations the aids have made it so easy to hear conversations and truly enjoy my evening. The hearing clinic and the Audiologist that Zip Hearing sent me to is top notch and I would recommend to anyone. The only negative I have is that I still am trying to get used to having something inside my ears. I have only had them for a few weeks and am still learning what they can do for me.
This is my first Resound Hearing Aids. This is the premium version called Resound Linx 3D 9 model exclusively designed to work with IPHONE. I was wearing Bernafon hearing aids which I bought less than 3 years ago. These are Behind the Ear (BTE) and Receiver in Canal(RIC) and also called open fit hearing aids. They fit well on my ear and are fairly light compared to what I was wearing previously. The biggest advantage of these hearing aids is that you can control your hearing aid programming with IPHONE and you do not need any additional remote. In addition, you can also create your own personalized programs if you wish for any specific situations.
I am still in my 45-day trial. But my new ReSound Linx 3d 7 hearing aids have so improved the clarity of my hearing. I love being able to adjust my programs to improve the quality of my hearing according to my surroundings. I've had a bit of a problem adjusting the Dome size and wire length so initially they weren't very comfortable but my audiologist has been so patient and now I don't even notice they're there.
