What we love about Ruby
Designed by budget-conscious consumers, Ruby is an attractive combination of sound quality, sought-after features, and affordability.
Connects directly to your iOS®, and select Android™ devices so you can stream audio in excellent quality directly to your hearing aids.
Lithium-ion battery technology ensures you can comfortably enjoy a full day of hearing, including streaming from your favorite devices. Simply set your hearing aids in their charger at night, and you'll wake up to fully-powered devices in the morning.
Included with your purchase
Don’t settle for less- or “remote support.” To get the best performance out of your hearing aids you need local care. It’s why Oticon recommends it, right on their website. Your purchase includes 1 year of unlimited appointments with your local ZipHearing provider. After your first year of ownership, additional appointments with your local ZipHearing provider are (at the most) $65 each.
Wear your hearing aids for 45 days. If they don’t change your life, simply bring them back to your local ZipHearing provider and we’ll issue a 100% refund. No restocking fees. No fine print.
Your purchase includes a manufacturer’s 3 year warranty covering repairs, and loss and damage. If a hearing aid is lost or damaged beyond repair during the warranty period, your ZipHearing provider can file what is called a “Loss and Damage Claim” for you, and a new device will be issued, subject to a deductible payable to your hearing provider of $350/aid.
Cleaning and maintenance supplies like domes and wax filters are included with your order, and your hearing provider will show you how to use them. If your hearing aids take disposable batteries, we’ll include a year's supply. If your hearing aids are rechargeable, we’ll include a charger.
We offer 12 month interest-free financing through CareCredit. We also offer payment plans of up to 60 months, though interest does apply. Setting up your financing takes just minutes, and a ZipHearing team member will help you through the process.
How Ruby fits

Made to capture special moments
Ruby was best known for being Oticon’s most affordable hearing aid in their “essential” category, while still being powered by the ultra-fast Velox S™ platform.
There are sometimes legitimate reasons to purchase an outdated model, but in most cases we would recommend taking a look at the newer model.

Oticon Ruby reviews

I am so delighted with them
Hello, my name is Bill, and I live in the Philadelphia area. But that’s probably not important. What is important is that if you’re watching this video, we probably have something in common- we both are suffering from some degree of hearing loss. Now, when I turned 65 I would receive lots of advertisements from local hearing aid providers, and this made me angry, to be honest. I confess, I was resisting growing older, and hearing loss is indeed a natural part of this process. Finally, after fighting this for years, I relented and avoided the advertisements I would receive from local providers, I went to the internet, did some research, and found Zip. I called Zip, they referred me to a local provider who was terrific, and within a very short period of time, I had my hearing aids, which we had chosen together. I chose Oticon, and for a number of reasons: 1) Is that I could recharge it every night, I wouldn’t be forced to replace batteries weekly, or however long it would take. Also, you can’t see them can you? In either ear. They’re easy, very easy to put on and take off, and I am so delighted with them. I hear things now that I was completely unaware of, and I feel very very foolish that I resisted for so long, I fought this for so long, I can hear clearly, I’m very happy, and um, I recommend it to you. If you were like me and fighting things- it’s a useless battle, it’s going to happen, it’s the natural process. So, what can I say? Don’t be foolish like I was. Get your hearing checked, and go from there. Thanks for listening.
