Included with your purchase
Don’t settle for less- or “remote support.” To get the best performance out of your hearing aids you need local care. It’s why Oticon recommends it, right on their website. Your purchase includes 1 year of unlimited appointments with your local ZipHearing provider. After your first year of ownership, additional appointments with your local ZipHearing provider are (at the most) $65 each.

KEY FEATURES
1. Disposable battery
The model shown is powered by a size 675 disposable battery. Xceed is also available with a size 13 battery (shown further down this page). Most of our customers purchase the 675 battery model, as it is more powerful, with a maximum gain of 87 dB, compared to the rechargeable model’s maximum gain of 83 dB. The batteries on both models will last about 4 days. Your purchase from ZipHearing includes a 1 year supply of disposable batteries.
2. Ear hook
The ear hook connects to the receiver (speaker) of the hearing aid and channels the sound down the tubing and into an ear mold that sits inside the ear. Note that in the 3D model shown on this page, the earmold tubing and earmold are not pictured.
3. Indicator light
The LED indicator light can be programmed by your hearing provider to indicate a few different things, such as the program that the hearing aids are on, when you have reached minimum and maximum volume, and if the battery is low. If you think the indicator light might be helpful, discuss these options with your hearing care provider.
4. Microphone
The microphone picks up the sound from the environment and sends it into the hearing aid for processing. You’ll mostly want to leave the microphone alone, but periodically check it to ensure it’s not being plugged up by hair care products or oils.
5. Rocker switch
The rocker switch controls the volume of the hearing aid, and holding down the bottom rocker switch button can mute the hearing aid, and put it into flight mode. The separate push button further down the aid allows you to change the program of the hearing aid. Some people use the rocker switch & push button exclusively to control the hearing aids, and others use the app to control the hearing aids. Others (most people), use a combination of both the app and rocker switch to make adjustments to their hearing aids. You likely won’t have to use these buttons often, but some people find them handy to make quick adjustments to their hearing aids when they change listening environments (ie, entering a noisy restaurant, or a quiet room). Your hearing provider will go over the options available and make sure your hearing aids are set up to your ideal preferences.

Xceed has an IP68 rating, meaning it’s protected from dust getting inside and can withstand exposure to water, though caution around water is highly recommended.
