Changed my lie

The units provided by ZipHearing and recommended bythe provider have changed my life. I believe they are Signia units. Originally I thought they would be cumbersome. After my installation visit. I enjoyed hearing the birds and music of the world turning. They are light weight and durable. At 6'3" with large hands I was concerned about how I would "work" the volume controls or replace the batteries. All was accomplished with ease. I urge anyone to hear what they are missing. It's not just amplification, but stimulation. Even without my aids, I hear more accurately. I give them a good workout as I usually spend 14-16 hours daily enjoying this world.

Surpasses my expectations

The ability of my Signia hearing aids to adapt to various environments far surpasses my expectations. I recently changed from an in-the-canal style that I had worn for the past 5 years. My new behind-the-ear model gives me much more satisfying options to tailor my hearing to the surroundings. The added bonus of Bluetooth streaming and iPhone connectivity is awesome.

Very please with the quality of sounds

After much deliberation, I finally purchased hearing aids and am very pleased with the quality of sounds I can now hear. Whether in a large room or speaking with another person at close range, I'm impressed! The hearing aids are easy to use, and not visible to others. Small and lightweight, I'll learn how they perform while traveling. To have the phone sounds come directly to my hearing aids is a real plus!

Comfortable to wear

The Sound quality is good. I like being able to adjust the tone. It is comfortable to wear. I hardly notice it is there. I am getting some feedback when I am in confined spaces and driving. I will work with my provider to get that adjusted. I have been getting some drop outs here and there, not sure what that is about.

Common questions about Signia Pure 312 X hearing aids

Bluetooth / ConnectivityDisposable BatteriesControls/AppsMiscellaneous

Choose questions category:

Is this hearing aid Bluetooth compatible?
Signia hearing aids are Made for iPhone, which means they can directly stream audio like phone calls and music. If you don't have an iPhone, you can still stream audio to your hearing aids, but it requires buying the StreamLine Mic accessory, which creates a Bluetooth connection between your hearing aids and phone.
Does this hearing aid allow for hands-free phone calls?
Only via the StreamLine Mic accessory. When talking on the phone, you'll hear the caller through the hearing aids, but in order for them to hear you (and for you to use the phone truly hands-free), you'd need to use the StreamLine Mic accessory, which has a microphone on it that will pack up your voice so the caller can hear you.
Can this hearing aid be paired directly to my Bluetooth TV?
No. Streaming audio from the TV requires the StreamLine TV accessory.
How long do the batteries last?
Battery life varies depending on numerous factors, but you should expect 4-6 days from a battery.
How will I know when it's time to change the battery?
About 20 minutes to an hour before your battery quits, the hearing aid will play a low battery notification of steady beeps or a melodic tune. Your hearing provider can demonstrate this sound for you in the fitting software so you know what to expect.
Are the batteries hard to change?
For most people, no, the 312 battery is not hard to change. If you're concerned about this, you may want to check out one of Signia's rechargeable models, so you don't have to change the battery.
How can I control this hearing aid, and which settings can I control?
Using the onboard pushbutton, or the miniPocket remote, you can control the volume and program. Using the Signia app, you can control volume, program, base and treble, and on 5 and 7 models, you can control the directionality of the microphones, helping to reduce background noise in a challenging listening environment.
How do I turn this hearing aid on and off?
To turn the hearing aid on, simply close the battery door. Opening the battery door will turn the hearing aid off.
Does the app have a “Find My Hearing Aid” feature?
It does not.
Is this hearing aid CROS compatible?
Yes, all models are compatible with the CROS Pure 312 X.
Can I get this hearing aid with a telecoil?
Yes, you'll want the model called Pure 312 X with T-Coil
Is this model compatible with color changing kits?
Yes. If you're unsure of the color you want to order, or would simply like to change colors, your hearing provider can order color changing kits from Signia. They can then quickly change the color of the hearing aid.

StreamLine MIC has two features. First, it's most commonly used as a Bluetooth streamer that allows you to stream audio from your phone to your hearing aids. If you have an Android phone or any non-Apple smartphone, you'll need this device if you wish to stream audio from your phone to your hearing aids. If you have an iPhone, you won't need this device, because Signia hearing aids are directly compatible with iPhones. Even if you have an iPhone, it still may make sense to get this, because it does allow for hands free phone calls. Wear it around your neck and the microphone picks up your voice for the person on the other end of the call to hear, so you don't have to hold you the phone to your mouth when speaking. The second feature of StreamLine MIC is its ability to work as a remote microphone. If you have a hard time hearing in noise this accessory is a lifesaver. Attach the StreamLine MIC to a companion's shirt and their voice will stream directly to your hearing aids. Their voice will come through much stronger than all the competing noise in the environment.

You probably don't need this. Most people use the app to control their hearing aids, but if that doesn't suit you, this remote is a simple way to control the volume and program.
