Can this hearing aid be paired directly to my Bluetooth TV?
No. Streaming audio from the TV requires the StreamLine TV accessory.
Is this hearing aid Bluetooth compatible?
Styletto AX hearing aids are Bluetooth compatible and can be paired to iPhones for streaming phone calls, music, and more. These hearing aids can also stream to many of the most popular Android devices via the ASHA (Audio Streaming for Hearing Aids) standard, so lond as the device is running Android OS 11 or higher. A complete list of ASHA-supported devices can be found on Signia's website.
Does this hearing aid allow for hands-free phone calls?
If you have an iPhone 11 or newer, running on iOS 15.1 or newer, and the 3, 5, or 7 AX model, you're able to talk on the phone hands-free. With all other phones, hands-free phone calls will only work via the StreamLine Mic accessory. When talking on the phone, you'll hear the caller through the hearing aids, but in order for them to hear you (and for you to use the phone truly hands-free), you'd need to use the StreamLine Mic accessory, which has a microphone on it that will pack up your voice so the caller can hear you.
How long does it take to get a full charge?
A full charge takes about 4 hrs and will provide 16-19 hrs of power. A 30 minute charge will get you 5.5 hours of power .
How many hours a day do the batteries last?
With no streaming, a full charge will get you 19 hours of power. With streaming, 16 hrs.
What is the lifespan of the rechargeable batteries?
Signia expects the battery to last 3-4 years, at which point the hearing aid will need to be sent to them to get a new battery. We expect most providers will chage $150-$250 per device for this service.
How will I know when my battery needs to be charged?
About 20 minutes to an hour before your battery quits, the hearing aid will play a low battery notification of steady beeps or a melodic tune, letting you know it's time to charge the hearing aid. Your hearing provider can demonstrate this sound for you in the fitting software so you know what to expect.
What if I'm on-the-go and my battery dies?
The charger has a built-in battery that stores 4 full charges, so even without electricity, you can charge your hearing aids by pulling power from the charger battery. If you're going to be "off the grid" for longer than that, Signia recommends buying the Tripp Lite model UPB-02K6-1U power pack, which is a power bank that you can plug your charger into when you need to charge your hearing aids and don't have access to electricity.
Does the charger include a dehumidifier?
It does not. If you live in a humid environment or are concerned about moisture, you may want to buy the Dry and Clean Charger Styletto AX which offers UVC cleaning and drying technology to keep the hearing aids in peak condition.
Can I charge the case on a charging pad?
Yes. The Styletto charger incorporates Qi wireless charging technology. You can use any wireless charging pad, simply lay the case directly on the pad with the charging indicator light facing up.
How can I control this hearing aid, and which settings can I control?
Using the miniPocket remote, you can control the volume and program. Using the Signia app, you can control volume, program, base and treble, and on 5 and 7 models, you can control the directionality of the microphones, helping to reduce background noise in a challenging listening environment. If you have an iPhone 11 or newer, you can also answer phone calls by tapping on the hearing aid.
How do I turn this hearing aid on and off?
There is no on/off switch for these hearing aids. They automtically turn on when you take them out of the case, and turn off when you put them back in. If you want to turn them off without charging them, just press and hold the charger button for 5 seconds to turn off the charger .
Does the app have a “Find My Hearing Aid” feature?
It does not. request but not available
Is this hearing aid CROS compatible?
Yes, Styletto AX is CROS compatible, the CROS device is called Styletto RIC CROS AX.
Can I get this hearing aid with a telecoil?
No, it's not available with this model.
Can I still use the charger if I get custom earmolds?
Yes, but it's not ideal. If there are molds on your hearing aids, they'll have to hang outside of the charger, and the lid won't close. The hearing aids will charge this way, but it's not ideal, and a bit awkward. If you use ear molds, or receiver wires in the length of #4, we recommend getting the Dry and Clean Styletto AX charger, as the hearing aids will fit more comfortably in that charger.
Take control of your hearing aids. This app allows you to control sound settings like volume, program, and microphone directionality. In some cases, your hearing provider can even make remote adjustments to your hearing aids through the app. An August 2022 has added some new functionality to the app that lets wearers track things like daily weartime, footsteps, and activity and conversations.

This is the charger that comes with all Styletto AX orders. Hearing aids are fully charged in 4 hours, providing 16-20 hours of power. A 30-minute quick charge will provide an extra 5.5 hours of power. This charger case also features a built-in litium-ion battery which can store 4 full charges, so in the event you don't have access to electricity, you can still charge your hearing aids by pulling the reserve battery from the case. The charger case can be charged via USB, or Qi wireless charging technology, enabling you to simply place the charger on a charging pad instead of having to plug it in.

Plug it into the back of your TV or soundbar and the audio will be streamed directly to your hearing aids. Others can keep the TV at their preferred volume level, while you set your own volume via the app or on the hearing aids themselves.

StreamLine MIC has two features. First, it's most commonly used as a Bluetooth streamer that allows you to stream audio from your phone to your hearing aids. If you have an Android phone or any non-Apple smartphone, you'll need this device if you wish to stream audio from your phone to your hearing aids. If you have an iPhone, you won't need this device, because Signia hearing aids are directly compatible with iPhones. Even if you have an iPhone, it still may make sense to get this, because it does allow for hands free phone calls. Wear it around your neck and the microphone picks up your voice for the person on the other end of the call to hear, so you don't have to hold you the phone to your mouth when speaking. The second feature of StreamLine MIC is its ability to work as a remote microphone. If you have a hard time hearing in noise this accessory is a lifesaver. Attach the StreamLine MIC to a companion's shirt and their voice will stream directly to your hearing aids. Their voice will come through much stronger than all the competing noise in the environment.
