Hearing Aid Description & Features

Released by Phonak on August 19, 2020 the Phonak Audeo Paradise 50 falls under Phonak`s standard technology level within the Audeo Paradise family.

As standard technology, this hearing aid is the third best technology that Phonak has to offer, making it a solid choice for individuals with quiet lifestyles, who primarily wish to hear better around the home, in one-on-one conversations, watching TV, and in mostly quiet and small group settings.

The Phonak Audeo Paradise 50 hearing aid has 12 channels and 5 customizable programs, and that gives it the flexibility to digitally process sound in a way that sounds natural, and can also be adapted to the particular listening environment of the wearer.

The Audeo Paradise 50 as pictured above features a built in lithium-ion rechargeable battery, which, when powered overnight, reliably delivers 24 hrs of power to the hearing aid. This hearing aid is also available for $50 less with a disposable size 13 battery which will need to be changed every 7-10 days, or a size 312 battery which will need to changed weekly. With a maximum potential gain of 67 SPL, the Audeo Paradise 50 is suitable for individuals with mild to severe hearing loss.

With its discreet RIC (receiver in canal) style, the Audeo Paradise 50 sits comfortably behind the ear and is hardly noticeable to the wearer or others. This hearing aid is available in 7 color choices as shown below.

Frequently Asked Questions
The model pictured above is the rechargeable model, but you can also order Paradise with a 13 or 312 battery. Those models are $50/aid less than the rechargeable model shown on this page.
If you have a hard time hearing in the presence of background noise (like restaurants) we very strongly recommend getting the 70 model. The Paradise 50 model does not have Phonak's most advanced technology to separate speech from background noise, whereas the 70 does. Another reason to upgrade to the 70 model is if you plan to have your hearing aids paired to your phone for streaming music or phone calls. On the P50 model, you do not have access to the Tap Control feature which allows you to pause and play music, accept and end phone calls, and activate virtual assistants like Siri, by simply double-tapping near your hearing aid.
If you're streaming 5 hours of audio a day from your phone or TV, count on a battery life of around 16 hrs. With little or no streaming, your battery life should be 24 hrs. The li-ion battery inside the hearing aid will last about 3 years, at which time we recommend sending the hearing aid in to Phonak (before the warranty expires), to get a new battery installed at no cost.
Paradise hearing aids are compatible with nearly all modern smartphones and phones equipped with Bluetooth. However, prior to purchasing, we do recommend checking compatibility using this tool on Phonak's website: https://www.phonak.com/com/en/support/product-support/compatibility.html
When you set your hearing aids in their charging station, they will automatically turn off. Or, you can press and hold the toggle button on the hearing aid and that will turn them off as well.
Depending on how your hearing provider has programmed your Paradise hearing aids, you'll be able to adjust the settings via the onboard toggle button, or via the myPhonak app on your phone.

Intro the brand new Phonak Paradise!

Welcome to Phonak Paradise

Featuring unrivaled sound quality, universal connectivity and personalized digital solutions.

Accessories & Smartphone Apps
Charger Case Combi (Included)

This is the standard charger that comes with all rechargeable hearing aids. Fully charges your hearing aids in 3 hrs, providing 24 hours of power. A quick charge of 30 minutes will provide 6 hours of power. There's also a compartment inside that has room for dessicant, which helps dry out the hearing aids overnight. Dessicant doesn't come standard with orders from Phonak. If you want it, please specify at the time you order .

Mini Charger Case: $79

The Phonak Mini Charger Case, with standard USB-C charging outlet, is a compact charger for two Audéo M-R hearing aids.

TV Connector: $249

Plug it into the back of your TV or soundbar and the audio will be streaned directly to your hearing aids. Others can keep the TV at their preferred volume level, while you set your own volume via the app, on the hearing aids themselves, or via the + or - buttons on the TV connector.

PartnerMIC: $449

If you have a hard time hearing in noise this accessory is a lifesaver. Attach this microphone to a companion's shirt and their voice will stream directly to your hearing aids. Their voice will come through much stronger than all the competing noise in the environment.

RemoteControl: $249

You probably don't need this. Most people use the app to control their hearing aids, and if not the app, then the push button on the hearing aid itself. But if neither of those suit you, this remote is a simple way to control the volume and program.

myPhonak App

Take control of your hearing aids. Adjust settings like volume, programs, frequencies, and noise cancellation. See information about your hearing aids, like battery charge and wear time statistics. In some cases, you can even connect with your hearing provider for remote adjustments to your hearing aids.

myCall-to-Text phone App

Have a hard time hearing on the phone? This app allows you to read, in real time, what the person on the other end of the phone is saying.

I am in the 45 day trial period with Phonax rechargeable Paradise unit. This is my first attempt at a hearing aid.Consistent sporadic booming sounds with the notification alerts turned off. Inability to TV stream due to static scrambling of unintelligible sound. Wandering sound amplitudes in closed and outdoor environments. Love the sound quality ,comfort and rechargeable convenience . Hope to get this remedied and push forward

I am very pleased with my Phonak P50R hearing aids. I have been wearing them for about one month and they are comfortable and do a fantastic job helping me hear. My hearing loss was severe and I should have been wearing hearing aids sooner. I hear things now that I have not heard in years.
